Services

In these pre-GCSE (KS3) focussed sessions, you get to decide which topics you wish to concentrate on from the standard NARGPS topics: i.e. Number, Algebra, Ratio, Geometry, Probability and Statistics, as well as any other foundation/essential maths topics.
We will actively work on gradually increasing your knowledge of mathematical ideas and principles, and will endeavour to help develop your critical thinking skills, nurture your initiative, self belief and self confidence through graduated problems and exercises.
Our motto is "by doing, one becomes" and so we will be placing an emphasis on practice.
Time permitting, at some stage, we will also undertake the study of mathematical constructions, a very practical exercise, using only a compass, ruler, pencil and paper.

Although the A-level mathematics syllabus is quite extensive, in these sessions it is you who get to choose which topics you wish to focus your energy on. Your needs come first.
Building on previous mathematical studies, together, we will actively work on gradually increasing your knowledge of important mathematical ideas and principles. A-level studies help to develop your critical thinking skills and help nurture your initiative, self belief and self confidence. As with your GCSE studies we will work through graduated problems and exercises.
As always, our motto is "by doing, one becomes" and so we will be placing an emphasis on practice, and more practice.
